COUTINAUX - MILL. 2015

It was our father, René Collet, who planted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir on the Coutinaux parcel of the south-facing Nord de Fontaine-Denis terroir. Coutinaux is our Everest. From pruning to harvest, the work is commensurate with its 10,000 vines planted over one hectare. Visit Coutinaux and you come face- to-face with the elements, and yourself, as you see first-hand the work of the winegrower in its most noble form. Coutinaux wines go into many of our champagnes, so it was vitally important that they capture the energy of this unique place.
