In the Galipes from 1744

Thomas and Florent are the ninth generation of winegrowers at Fontaine-Denis and have been working the six-hectare estate, in the heart of the Côte de Sézanne, since 2002.
Its 17 plots form a fascinating mosaic where nature thrives. Low intervention, respect for Mother Nature, patience in the winery and stringent quality standards are, the brothers believe, what it takes to make champagnes with character that truly reflect their terroir.

Explore land
of Fontaine Denis

Explore with us the unique diversity of the Fontaine Denis terroir (Côte de Sézanne).
This mosaic of soils and exposure offers rare and unusual nuances. We take care to bring them in the cellar through gentle wine-making in oak barrels and tanks through precised blends.

Respect about vine
& life

We have a holistic approach about making our champagnes.

According to us, he fundamental requirements for healthy and good-quality grapes are observation, working the land, using herbal infusions and natural preparations in the respect of the vine and its soil.

Our commitments:

  • Soil respect
  • Re-introduction of trees in the vines
  • Use of herbal teas and decoctions
  • Organic certification
  • Yield control for better expression
